The Air Jordan 7 Retro design is a throwback to the years MJ was running the court. The multi-colored look is modern, but the splashes of bold coloring make it feel retro. You can see the painstaking thought that went into the shoe when you notice those splashes from the top all the way to the bottom of the outsoles. His Airness was definitely involved in the design. It feels like he was trying to not only make the shoe functional but also collectible.
